The Industrial Monuments Route was created by connecting several dozens of industrial facilities of different types. This action resulted in a new value (complex offer prevailing over a single service), creating a unique product that is based on the tangible and intangible industrial heritage of the region of Silesia.
The Industrial Monuments Route, as a network tourist product of the region, is a so-called 'unique selling proposition' of the Silesian Province on the regional market of tourist offers. It reflects the character of the region in which industrial culture is one of the essential elements of its identity. The prepared Route is not a self-contained, detached product, but one of the key projects connected with the promotion of the region. It is intended to be a product integrating and activating the entire Province of Silesia.
